I have visited the Feni (ফেনী) district twice. Though our buses of Chittagong zone use to go through the Feni (ফেনী) but got the chance only twice. At both the occasions I have got a chance to visit this School. It is known as Feni Pilot School (ফেনী পাইলট স্কুল). Previously I have visited the Faridpur Zila School during 2010 and that’s why decided to have an exploration for this one too.
This school is one of the oldest schools from our overall Bangladesh. It was established at 1886, more than 130 years of old. The architecture is similar to the other colonial buildings of British period in Bangladesh. I am not sure but probably the premise has the academic building of the Feni (ফেনী) Government College as well.
I have visited the school twice, one during the Spring, and another during the Rainy season. This school has a large playground in front of it. During the Spring boys were playing cricket. And during the rainy season the boys were playing football.
How to go:
Well it is just a school and not a tourist place. But if you want to go, then just ask anybody from the town. It is located at the center of the two. It is very near from the Feni (ফেনী) railway station. GPS coordinate of the location is (23° 0’43.16″N, 91°24’5.11″E).
