Court Mosjid(কোর্ট মসজিদ) is located at the center of the Gopalganj Sodor Upazela(গোপালগঞ্জ সদর উপজেলা). It is a nicely decorated mosque having a high minaret beside and a central dome atop of the mosque. The dome and the minaret is oriented with lot of small stars. This mosque was inaugurated(at 1949) by the Khaza Nazimuddin(খাজা নাজিমুদ্দিন), the former governor general of East Pakistan.
It was at the middle of the day. Probably around 12:00 or 12:30 at the day. Very warm weather and had a bright sky above us with lot of buoyant clouds. We have visited this mosque just after entering the Gopalganj(গোপালগঞ্জ) District from Narail(নড়াইল).
How to Go:
This Court Mosque is located at the center of the Gopalganj(গোপালগঞ্জ) district town. More or less everyone knows about this mosque. You can take rickshaw from anywhere of the town and come here. This mosque is also known as Gopalganj Central Jame Mosque(গোপালগঞ্জ কেন্দ্রীয় জামে মসজিদ).
