The river I am talking about is named Ichhamoti (also Ichamoti or Ichamati), located at the Nawabganj of Dhaka district. I have been to Bandura to explore the Old buildings of Kolakola and BoktNogor. All those archaic buildings are situated beside this Ichhamoti river.

Ichhamoti river is originated from the river Dhaleswari. Near the Bandura bazar the river separated into two branches. Later each of those joined with the massive river Padma. Also, at several places few canals are originated from the river, and all of those later joined with the river Padma.

I’d love to have a boat journey during rainy season over this river Ichamoti. This can be started from the Dhalaswari and ending at Padma.
