Gouripur Lodge is an antique edifice from the Mymensingh town. It is unknown about the built date and the purpose for which it was built. It was made using iron, tin and wood. Structure of the building is similar to the other Jamindar mansions of that period. It was built by Brozendra Kishor Ray Chowdhury.

Government officers and a few of their subordinates are currently living at that mansion. It has around 20 rooms inside. Anyone can visit this building anytime. You may not get permission to enter inside, but can explore the building from outside. Usually it would take approximately 20 minutes to explore this Gouripur lodge.

This archaic Gouripur lodge is located near the main Mymensingh town. One could go using a rickshaw easily. It is near the Boro Bazar. GPS coordinate of that palace is (24°45’40.10″N, 90°24’31.40″E). As this place is near the river Brahmaputra, you could go for a short walk around the river, or hire a boat to explore it.
