My last two days were too cloudy, and with a light bit of rain as well. But today, it was really bright and sunny, and also a hot day. If you see the photos, you’d find it easily. From my observation, this stadium is not in use for hosting any sports right now. The grasses on the ground were too tall, and it was hard to walk in fact. This Khagrachhari stadium has a historical aspect. During the peace contract with the tribal, they surrendered their weapons at this stadium. That’s why I have actually visited this historical place.
We just returned back from Matiranga of Khagrachhori, and it was still approximately 2 hours before our bus leaves for Dhaka. I was thinking about how to utilize the time? I started reading my handout and found this Khagrachhori Stadium was nearby and would take at max 10 minutes to explore the stadium.
We asked an auto rickshaw (driven by battery) to take us to the Khagrachhori stadium. Within 10 minutes we reached that place from the bus terminal. You’d find 4/5 policies were there to guard the stadium. But they would not forbid you to enter inside the stadium. Just tell them that you are from Dhaka, and you are a tourist. That will do.
