River Glencree is a very narrow, shallow, and short river from Ireland. This river is in fact one of the shortest rivers from the country. It originated from the Wicklow mountain and ended by falling into River Dargle (before the Powerscourt Estate). During its short course the river flows beside the Old Military Road, Glencree visitor center, and the Glencree valley.
People who do the Wicklow way walk they use to pass by the river for a while. Otherwise it doesn’t have that much of walking path around it. It has a lovely bridge near the walk.
Frequently at some places the Glencree river is seen as tranquil as the picture.
