Avonbeg is another shallow river from Ireland that is originated from the valley around Camenabologue in wicklow mountain range. After flowing through county wicklow this river joins the famous river Avonmore in Castlehoward of wicklow and forms a new one named river Avoca. After that the water continues to the Irish sea. The name Avonbeg came from Irish language and that means “small river” (which justifies its name).
Photos of this river Avonbeg were taken from the Glenmalure valley of wicklow. We went to visit several small waterfall near the valley. Carrawaystick waterfall was one of those which also falls into this river.
