Earlier I wrote an article based on the photos of River Kumar from Faridpur district. Now again the same river but this time it falls into the Beel route canal (some people call this man made canal as Kaliganga river) near the Takerhat and then continues flowing as Kumar river before falling into Arial Khan river. But shortly after joining the river, a branch originated and that branch also kept the same name Kumar. This article’s photos are of that river branch of Kumar. After flowing through Chormugria, this river joins into the same Arial khan river where the other branch has already merged.
I came across the river after observing the activities of the monkeys from Chormugria. This 30 feet wide river was full with water due to the rainy season. It felt like the river was overflowing and at any time it could flood the nearby area. This small river has several bridges over it, but it still had a small boat to transport the local people from one side to another as a shortcut.
