The tomb of Bibi Mariam(বিবি মরিয়ম) is located at the Hajiganj(হাজীগঞ্জ) of Narayanganj(নারায়নগঞ্জ) district. Its basically a square shaped building having a single dome at the middle. It has a small room inside the building, which is basically the grave of Bibi Mariam. It is believed that Bibi Mariam(বিবি মরিয়ম) was the daughter of Shayesta Khan(শায়েস্তা খাঁ) who was a Mughal Subahdar of Bengal.
There is a mosque available at the western side of the tomb. Original it was a three dome mosque that was built during 1664-1688 by Shayesta Khan(শায়েস্তা খাঁ). But in recent pasts it was renovated and extended several times. It took totally a different outlook now a days. So you’ll find only the new looked mosque there.
How to Go:
Tomb of Bibi Mariam is located at the Hajiganj(হাজীগঞ্জ) of Narayanganj(নারায়নগঞ্জ) District. This is located around several hundred meters south from the Hajiganj(হাজীগঞ্জ) Fort. More precisely near to the Kellarpool(কেল্লার পুল). You can have a walk to reach there by asking the local people around.
